  I don't know why this place has such low reviews. I decided to give this place a try during my recent trip to Irvine. I stayed in one of the silo rooms on the first floor. The room was big and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are small. I thought the room was very clean. I didn't find any stained carpet, or weird smells at all. I would've rated this place 5 stars but the location next to the train tracks, and the continental breakfast make this place 4 stars for me. So if your booking try to ask for a room away from the train tracks. My room is literally 50ft from the tracks. The train apparently runs till 11pm ish and starts back up around 0630. The so called continental breakfast here consist of waffles, toast and cereal. Most hotels now include breakfast meats, eggs, and oatmeal in the continental breakfasts. Overall I'm very happy with the stay here at La Quinta inn. The location is great, there's a couple of restaurants nearby. It has a pool and spa, and the staff seems very helpful. I look forward to staying here again.
