  This office is not good at all! Be careful and read below. My son fractioned his leg yesterday morning and we went to the emergency. The emergency at hoag advised us to go to CHOC but we need a referral from Dr Shahla's office. I called at this location at 9:45am yesterday and I asked that we need a referral and we need to go to CHOC and our medical
  Files was at HOAG. I called in again this morning as my son was in pain all night and the receptionist said that she was not able to get the medical record from HOAG and asked if maybe I can get the report and X-ray from hoag and bring it to them. I got upset and called department of health to report this action and to be reviewed immediately on why medical records was not able to be retrieved yesterday and how many times was actually tried to get it yesterday. The excuse I got was that no one answered yesterday at HOAG hospital, but with that answer just means that not enough effort was done. I called CHOC and they are all gone for the day as today was a half day. Now my son have to be in pain with a temporary cast for his leg til monday and CHOC is not able to help us put a cast on as today was a half a day. If the papers was complete yesterday, my son would be in less pain and we would of been in the doctors office early morning.
