  This place was fine as a dollar movie theater. Sure, it's run down and perpetually dirty but it was fine was a dollar. Now they've switched it to a first-run movie place and drastically increased their prices, but have not improved the facilities or cleanliness. If I'm going to pay the premium for a first-run movie, I'll go somewhere else. Mainplace offers discount movies still so we'll go there instead. This place has permanently lost our business. Just not worth it anymore.
