  We expect physicians to not only be be skillful and knowledgeable, but caring and empathetic. While Dr. Ahdoot may be the former he is certainly not the latter. Unfortunately he is the Obstetrics physician on-call for my daughter's medical group, and he has been nothing but rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Most recently my daughter was experiencing severe pain from contractions early in her high-risk pregnancy, and when contacted for advice about whether to go to the ER, this "physician" said "do whatever you want."
  
  What kind of person would be that callous?
